About Us

Since 1983, Pings has been family owned and operated by the Tran family. Bruce and Amy Tran have been hard at work at Pings for years serving the Minneapolis community with authentic and delicious Chinese food.

When calling to place an order on the phone or dining in the restaurant, you will likely interact with Amy who runs the front of the restaurant and will always welcome you with a smile.

Bruce works the kitchen with his brothers who all come in every day before the restaurant opens and stay late to hand make dumplings, egg rolls, and secret house sauces from scratch.

Vianna, Christina, and Joanna are their daughters who have grown up working at the restaurant after school, on weekends, and during holiday breaks. All three are University of Minnesota graduates.
